Speaking at the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe on AI and transformative innovation policies
Geneva, 27–28 October 2025 — Noetic AI’s Founder, Zoi Roupakia, will speak at the seventeenth session of the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE) Team of Specialists on Innovation and Competitiveness Policies (ToS-ICP).
Zoi will join the high-level panel “Transformative innovation policies and AI: how to create the right ecosystem for AI to thrive” on 27 October (16:30–18:00). The session forms part of the UNECE policy dialogue “Unleashing the power of AI for sustainable growth,” focusing on how governments can foster experimentation and innovation while mitigating the structural risks associated with the rapid development of artificial intelligence.

The discussion will explore how transformative innovation policies can guide AI-driven change, drawing on the UNECE Transformative Innovation Charter—a new framework for governments to enable innovation while maintaining sustainability and equity. Member States and experts will share experiences and good practices to harness AI’s potential in sectors such as energy and agri-food.
Zoi will contribute insights from her ongoing work on AI governance, policy design, and innovation systems, focusing on how AI can be leveraged to enable sustainable industrial transformation while ensuring accountability and trust.
